The worm wheel is one of the core components of the brake adjuster, an essential component of the truck braking system. The brake adjuster of the prior art is usually assembled from parts such as a housing, a worm, a worm wheel, and a lining.
The worm wheel and the worm are installed in the housing, and one end of the worm has a plurality of arc grooves distributed along its axial direction. The inner circumference of the worm wheel has a spline hole that matches the spline shaft of the brake cam, and a feed mechanism is connected between the adjuster and the small worm. When the brake clearance becomes more extensive and then brakes, the brake clearance can be automatically adjusted during the braking process to change the brake clearance to the optimal brake clearance, which is convenient and timely.
