Gulion Industrial warrants to the Buyer that all components sold will be free from defects in material and artistry.
This warranty is limited to components installed on vehicles licensed for on-highway use under regular use and service and extends for one year from the date of manufacture.
The Buyer's exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be the repair or replacement of Gulion components, not the cost of removal or installation. Automatic and Self-setting Automatic Slack Adjusters cannot compensate for other deficiencies in the brake system. Before returning, please check for Correct Installation, Regular Maintenance, Loose Wheel Bearings, worn cam bushes and Cam bearings, Defective Brake Chambers, and Missing or worn Return Springs.
Gulion reserves the right to require all warranty claim components to be available and returned for review and evaluation.
All claims must be made within the warranty period. The Gulion slack adjuster must be returned for examination, with details of the fault found, distance in service, and application. Finally, the brake must be constantly reset after any service or maintenance. Reset the brake, Reset the socket wrench onto the hex nut, and turn until the brake linings touch the brake drum. De-adjust the brake by turning the socket wrench in the opposite direction by 1/2 a turn. Uncage the spring brake and apply the parking brake before removing the chocks from the vehicle.
Gulion Automatic and Self-setting Automatic Slack Adjusters cannot compensate for other defects within the braking system. Worn or missing return springs, loose wheel bearings, defective actuators, worn camshaft journals, camshaft bushes or rollers, and worn anchor pins must all be rectified for the brake system to function correctly.
Gulion warranty does not cover parts that fail due to incorrect installation or abuse.
Gulion does not accept liability for any consequential losses arising from the unit's failure. Gulion shall not be liable for any claim, whether arising from a breach of contract or warranty or claims of negligence or negligent manufacture, more than the purchase price.
In no event shall Gulion be liable for special, incidental, indirect, or consequential, or collateral, losses or damages of any kind.
This limited warranty replaces all other warranties or conditions, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This is the only warranty Gulion offers, and no Gulion employee or representative is authorized to extend additional warranty terms on behalf of Gulion.
